Engagement of Project Director to Support Nigeria Sustainability and HIV Impact Project (N-SHIP). We are implementing a CDC supported 5-year project to deliver client-centered high quality comprehensive HIV care and treatment and laboratory services to reach the UNAIDS 95-95-95 targets and end AIDS by 2030. This project employs a patient-centered approach that integrates contextual health systems strengthening with comprehensive HIV care, including critical services mainstreamed towards those infected and affected by HIV.
<ul> <li>Lead the Program management unit and coordinate the implementation of N-SHIP project activities</li> <li>Supervises and provides technical guidance for project activities</li> <li>Assist in the operational and managerial aspects of the NSHIP project</li> <li>Ensure that appropriate technical strategies, policies and SOPs are developed and implemented in accordance to national regulations.</li> <li>Facilitate the management, development and monitoring of work plans and budgets; ensures appropriate levels of technical assistance for interventions.</li> <li>Contribute to resource development efforts that will support achievement of project objectives.</li> <li>Ensure that results from best practices are incorporated into interventions and strategic planning</li> <li>Ensure that project interventions are implemented in a timely manner</li> <li>Perform other duties as assigned.</li> </ul>
<ul> <li>MB.BS or degree in any medical field</li> <li>A Master’s degree in Public Health or related field is required, a doctorate degree will be an advantage</li> <li>Minimum of ten years; professional public health experience with at least five years of those in HIV/AIDS programme in a developing country setting</li> <li>Minimum of four years’ managerial level experience.</li> <li>Familiarity with Nigerian public sector health systems, international donor organizations, NGOs and CBOs is required.</li> <li>Prior experience work with multi-cultural and multi-disciplinary teams</li> </ul>

The officer will be accountable to the National Coordinator and reporting directly to the National Coordinator.
S/he will be paid competitive fees for the agreed duration based on qualification and experience.
