Background:

Engagement of a Health Informatics Officer to provide technical support for the optimization of the National Data Repository (NDR), the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS), and any other HIS platform. We are implementing a CDC supported 5-year project to deliver client-centered high quality comprehensive HIV care and treatment and laboratory services to reach the UNAIDS 95-95-95 targets and end AIDS by 2030. This project employs a patient-centered approach that integrates contextual health systems strengthening with comprehensive HIV care, including critical services mainstreamed towards those infected and affected by HIV.

Responsibilities:

<ul> <li>Analyze and interpret data to identify areas for improvement</li> <li>Support development of health information systems that support the collection, sharing, standardization and integration of healthcare data</li> <li>Support training at national, sub-national and service delivery levels on health information system, deployment and management.</li> <li>Provide technical support optimize network security and maintain data bases</li> <li>Document processes, maintain records and prepare reports</li> </ul> <p>Perform other duties as assigned.</p>

Qualifications & Skills:

<ul> <li>Degree in Health Information Management/Records, Health Administration, Computer Science, or related field.</li> <li>Minimum of 3 years cognate experience.</li> <li>Proficient in electronic medical record and health information management.</li> <li>Excellent communication and collaboration abilities</li> <li>Ability to work successfully in a multi-cultural environment</li> </ul>

<ul> <li>Monthly and timely programme data aggregation and analysis</li> <li>Monthly Data dashboard</li> <li>Monthly fact sheet</li> </ul>

Contracting & Accountability:

The officer will be accountable to the National Coordinator reporting directly to the National Coordinator.

Renumeration:

S/he will be paid competitive fees for the agreed duration based on qualification and experience.
