The National AIDS, Viral Hepatitis & STI Control Programme (NASCP) is responsible for reporting HIV/AIDS program performance to all relevant stakeholders and disseminating information concerning the country’s progress towards epidemic control. The Smart Data Reporting System (SDARS) project aims to establish a robust and efficient data reporting platform for aggregate HIV data across Nigeria. The National AIDS, Viral Hepatitis & STI Control Programme (NASCP) recognizes the critical importance of data in monitoring and improving public health outcomes. To address the need for a more efficient data reporting system, NASCP proposes the implementation of an aggregate data reporting and visualization system which will leverage DHIS2 and SDARS.
<p>The Consultants will provide support to NASCP in the various tasks outlined below:</p> <p>● Collaborate with NASCP throughout the project, providing regular updates on progress and addressing any concerns or questions.</p> <p> </p> <p>● Ensure that DHIS2 is configured to meet NASCP's specific reporting and data management needs.</p> <p> </p> <p>● Implement robust data security measures to safeguard sensitive health information.</p> <p> </p> <p>● Provide post-deployment support for one month to address any issues that may arise and offer guidance as needed.</p> <p> </p> <p>● Collaborate with NASCP to ensure a smooth transition to the operational phase of DHIS2.</p> <p> </p> <p>● Maintain open lines of communication and responsiveness to NASCP's requirements and feedback throughout the project.</p> <p> </p> <p>● Adhere to the agreed-upon project plan and timelines, making adjustments as necessary and ensuring timely delivery of all project deliverables.</p> <p> </p>
<p>DHIS2 Expertise: The consultant should have in-depth expertise in DHIS2, including installation, configuration, and customization. They should be well-versed in DHIS2 best practices and have a proven track record of successful deployments.</p> <p> </p> <p>● Technical Skills: Strong technical proficiency in server administration, database management (e.g., PostgreSQL), and Linux operating systems is essential.</p> <p> </p> <p>● Experience with Health Data Systems: Experience working on health data management systems, especially in the context of public health programs, is highly desirable.</p> <p> </p> <p>● Project Management: Demonstrated ability to manage projects, including setting up project plans, timelines, and milestones.</p> <p> </p> <p>● Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are required to effectively liaise with NASCP and project stakeholders.</p> <p> </p> <p>● Data Security: Understanding of data security and privacy regulations, with the ability to implement appropriate security measures within DHIS2.</p>
<p>The consultants should submit to NASCP the following:</p> <p>● DHIS2, set up with provided organization units, HTS, PMTCT, STIs, PREP, and Hepatitis.</p> <p>● Migration of DHIS2 to NASCP live server.</p>
The consultant will be accountable to the National Coordinator NASCP
The consultants will be paid based on qualification and experience
